Organization for Sustainable Development Africa (OSDA)
Organization for Sustainable Development Africa (OSDA) is a youth-led local non-governmental organization working with communities in Northern Kenya. The organization was registered in Kenya as a Community Based Organization (CBO) on 7th April 2013 under certificate number 35738 with the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Services in Mandera and later registered with NGO Coordination Board under section 10 of the Non-Governmental Organizations Coordination Act with registration number Op. 218/051/16-008/10139 as a fully-fledged NGO on 4th March 2016.
OSDA uses a locally led, community-driven approach, working with governments, civil society, academia, and the private sector. Its focus areas include peacebuilding, WASH, food security, livelihoods, education, health, and climate action.
Our strategy aims for faster, more efficient humanitarian responses while strengthening community resilience.
